Somerville Calls on Ofcom to Terminate the Rate

Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP (Lothians) (SNP) has welcomed today’s Ofcom announcement that they propose to cut the cost that mobile phone firms can charge for connecting a call from one person to another from 4.3 pence per minute to 0.5 pence. However, Ms Somerville has raised concerns that businesses and customers will not fully benefit from this cut until 2015.
